Time View Guide
A practical manual for drag placement, start/end edits, and clearing time assignments in Time View.
The goal of Time View is not a pretty calendar but realistic startable slots.
Table of Contents
Before You Start
- Verify the current view (weekly/daily/time) and date range first.
- If a filter is active, switch to all-view once to check hidden items.
- Before live usage, validate behavior with 1-2 test tasks.
Topic-by-Topic Guide
Topic 1
Grid and Right Panel Review
Left grid shows execution time blocks, while the right panel tracks remaining task state.
Manage both together to balance scheduled blocks and pending workload.

Topic 2
Drag Placement Operating Standards
Drag a task from the right list into the grid to create a block instantly.
Avoid fully packed schedules. Keep buffer gaps between blocks.
- Keep 15-30 minute buffers between deep-work blocks.
- Avoid placing high-intensity blocks right after meetings.
Topic 3
Start/End Time Adjustment Procedure
If block timing is off after drag, adjust directly in Task Detail time fields.
This is faster and more precise than repeatedly dragging blocks.

Topic 4
Time Unassignment and Reassignment Procedure
Keeping impossible slots causes chain delays. Clear and re-place in remaining windows.
Do not leave cleared tasks unscheduled. Re-place today or move by carry-over rules.
Topic 5
Scheduling Conflict Recovery Procedure
When blocks overlap or overload occurs, keep key blocks and move the rest by priority.
You do not need to fix the entire day. Restoring the next 2-3 hours is enough.
Troubleshooting
When screen looks different
Check view mode, date range, and filter state before retrying.
When edits are not reflected
Verify save action first, then refresh the page and check again.
