Task Create/Edit/Delete
This page is a practical manual for creating, editing, and cleaning up tasks in real operation.
Fast input and clean closure matter more than screen exploration. Follow the topics below and apply immediately.
Table of Contents
Before You Start
- Verify the current view (weekly/daily/time) and date range first.
- If a filter is active, switch to all-view once to check hidden items.
- Before live usage, validate behavior with 1-2 test tasks.
Topic-by-Topic Guide
Topic 1
Task Registration Procedure (Basic Fields)
When creating a task, enter title, status, and priority in Task Details in this order.
If needed, configure time assignment, folder, and recurrence in the same screen before saving.
- Enter title, then select status.
- Select priority and add time/folder/recurrence when required.
- Click save to complete registration.

Topic 2
Task Title and Sizing Procedure
Write task titles as executable action phrases, not broad nouns. Example: use 'Draft page 1 of proposal' instead of 'Proposal'.
Split tasks into 30-90 minute units. Smaller units improve edit speed and completion handling.
- Register tasks you can start today first.
- If unclear, use a temporary title and refine in Task Details.
Topic 3
Time Assignment and Clear Procedure
Use the time section to set start/end directly. If it differs from Time View placement, fine-tune here.
When schedule collapses, clear first with the reset button and then re-place realistically.
- After time edits, verify notification timing too.
- If a slot is unrealistic, clear it and move to another window.

Topic 4
Folder Assignment Procedure
Folders are for execution context, not storage. Set folder in Task Details for faster filtering.
If classification is unclear, keep unassigned and clean during weekly review.

Topic 5
Recurring Registration Procedure
For weekly routines, use 'Register as recurring task' in Task Details.
Do not make everything recurring. Start with only 2-3 routines that truly repeat.

Topic 6
Save, Cancel, and Delete Procedure
Use save when changes are confirmed, cancel when you only want to close, and delete only for full removal.
Before day-end, close each task with done/carry-over/delegate/cancel to keep tomorrow lighter.
Troubleshooting
When screen looks different
Check view mode, date range, and filter state before retrying.
When edits are not reflected
Verify save action first, then refresh the page and check again.
